It has wide ranging characteristics and dependent on the configuration of wire thickness in relation to the aperture size, can vary in texture from being as fine, soft and flexible as silk to being as rigid and durable as steel plate.

THE BENEFITS:-
o Weaving process uses no punching, piecing or stretching operations that create stress induced weaknesses
o Widest range of filtration, from over 6 inch aperture down to I micron nominal.
o High open area/flow rate.
o Smooth surface-screening surface has no sharpedges, burrs or acute angles.
o Very high temperature tolerance. (variable according to metal selected)
o Usable under high pressure.

SPECIFICATION:-
Woven wire has traditionally been designated by a mesh number representing the number of wires per linear inch. However, international standards have deleted mesh counts in favour of designation by aperture size and wire diameter alone. Genwork's sales department will be able to advise you whichever specification method you may use.

TYPES OF WIRE CLOTH:-
The vast majority woven mesh requirement for normal commercial applications will be specified as PLAIN WEAVE. Whatever your requirement Genwork will provide an answer and will be able to quote for the supply of woven materials for all weave patterns.

HOW TO ORDER:-
When ordering or making an enquiry, you will need to consider the following details:
Mesh Number (number of wires per linear inch)
Wire Diameter in mm or standard wire guage
Metal type
Type of Weave
Quantity (length & width)

If you have any DOUBTS contact Genwork for advice.
